Haven Arts Therapy

Tenille McCombie, ARtH
I'm a clinically registered Creative Arts Therapist and a Hawke’s Bay local with a passion for supporting my community and working closely with people. I have experience working with children, young people and adults, as well as individuals and groups; across areas including mental health and addictions, disability support, and dementia care.
I use a multi-modal and person-centred approach, ensuring that each individual’s unique needs and perspectives are at the heart of what I do. I’m committed to fostering inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration, creating spaces where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered to thrive.
I hold a Masters degree in Fine Art and a Masters in Arts in Creative Arts Therapy (Clinical). I am a professional member of ANZACATA (Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Creative Arts Therapy Association) and am guided by their code of ethics and conduct, ensuring that I practice with integrity, respect, and professionalism. I am also guided by Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles, which form my commitment to cultural safety, partnership, and equity in all aspects of my work.
My practice is located in Hastings by appointment. I am looking forward to meeting you, ngā mihi mahana.
